She hesitated for a while, though lol
Poor chris....seeing her struggle like that felt like 1000 needles being stabbed into him cause of the hesitation XD
yeah but you gotta start somewhere. i think past eliana would totally ditch him for the rare book. lol
Indeed T_T
slow development
The Struggle was Real.
I couldn't believe it, but I'm so happy for her.
You could see the struggle in our girl! LOL
I just now realized that we have the option of either using the old classic disqus or the new one in the comment section :D
Oh nice. Now we can all be happy. I’ve already gotten used to the new look though. xD
new look is so inefficient and waste so much space, with the old look i can see all the comments with the new one around 55-60%
Ohhhhh Thanks for that info!
well this "upgrade" met with an uproar so i'm not surprised that this option was implemented
Where? how does it work?
Click on the down arrow next to your username at the top of the comment section, and you will see the option.
Hell yeah, Classic Disqus ftw!
So much easier to click "upvote." 👍👍
Strange, the button still doesn't work for me - i get logged out, and then i login i see again the new view.( O well was worth the try - i preferred classic view cause i see more comments that way on my small laptop screen.)
This option should be directly above Log Out
Classic Disqus if you're using new id New Disqus if otherwise
I didn't have to log out first, just click on the words "Classic Dusqus." I can switch back and forth at will (once you've clicked it, it's replaced by "New Disqus").
time for a bigger screen i guess ;)
or glasses xD
Thank you, will have to test it
Oh... ohh... ohhhh~! Thank you for pointing that out! I never look at that dropdown menu. XD
ooh thanks - I'd gotten so used to the new style but when I switched back to the old version I realized how much more I like it lol
how do we change?
There's a small drop-down button right next to your username, click on it. If you're currently using the new version then the option Classic Disqus should be available, New Disqus if otherwise.
thanks man
Noice and how does one use this feature and go back to the old classic.
Nvm I saw further comments down on how do it.
And I just realized this after reading your comments.
And I'm back to classic - it was hard to view comments since my phone is in dark mode.
Thanks, I like the classic better
The king was so disappointed that Eli didn't call him Father :P
all he has to do is bribe her with a rare book lmao
Easy fix, he just has to share the disappointed with his son
Why is every last episode today so beautiful. They even had the Christmas trees. Well only thing left to say is: Merry Christmas everyone 🎄
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2 U 2

4. Anzai's best known as Chisato from Lycoris Recoil!
She really didn't take the book - our girl has grown up.
I'm glad they resolved the situation with the loli, because she was getting on my nerves.
"As the nobility, 'we can't do anything about that' are words that must never leave our mouths." - that are the words of the real future queen.
Eli looked really great in that red dress. I laughed when the queen acted all bashful after Eli called her 'Mother'. I really got to like the queen. I enjoyed the whole family conversation that followed.
But the ending surprised me. I didn't expect them to have 'Christmas' trees with glowing decorations. The kiss to finish the scene was just perfect.
As much as Eli and Chris are looking forward to the next year that they will spend together, I would look forward to the story of them doing just that (well time to read some manga).
So yeah, this was a pretty nice shoujo anime. It delivered exactly what you would expect it to deliver. Your classic love story, combined with some political plots/schemes and such, which made me quite uncomfortable sometimes. The thing in this story was that the main character was a bookworm, thus she was pretty smart, though she was also quite naive.
Eli was really adorable and I loved how bashful, and shy she was. Her love of books was sometimes even comical - like when someone 'hurt' a book, she would deem it as the most despicable act.
Chris was also really nice, and I loved how he was able to make Eli blush with his direct approach.
The two of them are really a nice pair, and the chemistry between them works well.
So to sum it up - if you are a fan of shoujo, you probably enjoyed this story. It was a classic shoujo with a nice bookworm girl as the main character. The OP and ED were both also really good (imo one of the best ones this season).
So yeah, for me it was an enjoyable ride, making my final verdict - 7.25/10.
Book or Finance?
Finance or Book?
Definitely Finance! Money is the key to happiness xD
Finance to buy book and more books later.
A wonderful ending to a wonderful series. I'm smiling ear to ear! :]
I love the Queen's reaction when Eli called her "Mother" when that's literally what she asked Eli to do last time. The Queen really is a Tsundere and she's basically lording it over her husband.
Happy to see Eli finally choosing Christopher over books and love the ending. A kiss in the snow also the Christmas ending for this time of the year.
This anime have a manga? Or light novel? Anybody knows?
This ended up being a bit... Disappointing, I suppose
Mostly makes me want more of that saint isekai and bookworm isekai
You might not believe this but I was quite a fan of Shoujou manga/anime. I'm not following them as much as I used to but still enjoy seeing/reading them nonetheless. I still remember the time when there was at least one Shojou anime per season but now it becomes a rare breed. When I started watching this, I thought I would finally find a new Shoujou anime I can enjoy.
And it really did... for 4 episodes, that is.
What I like about this show is the chemistry between Ellianna and Christopher. I love how Chris tried so hard to win over Ellie whose main priority in her life is reading books. After he did that in the first arc, everything became stale. It's still enjoyable but it's just that. It's good enough to kill time but not enough to make me excited for the weekly update anymore.
The story keeps repeating the same scenario over and over and that gets old real fast. And I've mentioned this before, it used too many misunderstanding tropes to drive the plot and I hate it. Once was fine but twice or more is annoying.
Still, Ellie's adorableness keeps me continue until the end. Her love for books and tendency to crack a joke at an unexpected moment is amusing to see. If we have more moments of that, I should enjoy this show more.
The OP and ED are fine but, in this season overflowing with top tier OP and ED, both of them just don't stand a chance.
Overall, I rate it 6/10. It's an enjoyable romance anime but also quite forgettable.
Actually Kinda surprised they managed that final kiss with all those people there, not that I would ever believe a final kiss wouldn't happen in a show like this, but the crowd made me suspect otherwise.
I guess that's just how captivating glow in the dark really is.
I thought someone will get in their way just to mess with Chris
They're teasing me with that Knight-Guardian-of-the troublesome-princess and not giving me any backstory!! AARRRGGHHHH!!!!!
Fun show, harmless, and no heart stabs, which is what I like just now...
Tropes are gonna trope...
Eliana turning down a rare book? Now that's what I call character development!
